The Legends:
GS Cabernet Sauvignon 
Named after the legendary Cabernet Sauvignons made in the 1960's by George Spies and made with the permission of the Spies family. This wine is made from a small production of clone 163 Cabernet Sauvignon that we have on Edgebaston. A pure expression of the variety.

The Classic Varieties:

Always whole bunch pressed for finesse and fermented and matured in French oak for 10 months. This wine does not undergo malolactic fermentation and is crisp and citrus flavoured when first released. Developing with bottle maturation into a classic example of a wine that compliments fine food.

Sauvignon Blanc
Made with a nod to classic Bordeaux white, this Sauvignon Blanc is fermented in Stainless steel at low temperatures and then blended with a dash of Semillon to give it a creamy minerality and a varietal character that increases with bottle maturation.

Fragrant and savoury, often likened to Southern French peers, an elegant version of the variety with a definite longevity and potential to age in the bottle. Driven by varietal character, not oaking, this wine benefits from time in the glass and great food accompaniment.

Cabernet Sauvignon
Very strong varietal character shows cassis and dark berry flavours when young. Benefits from time in the bottle to allow the fine but strong tannin to soften and unlock their true potential and show their class.

The Rock Stars:
The Pepper Pot 
Pepper and Spice and all things nice! That's what this wine is made of. A kid in torn jeans, making a noise and shocking its classy elders. The phenomenal success of this wine is in its modern winemaking approach and immediate pleasure that the consumer experiences when drinking a glass. Unashamedly in your face with a million flavours, great when consumed at a braai, in a bistro or straight out the bottle sitting on the tailgate of your pickup truck!

The Berry Box
Imagine listening to Asian rock music music whilst perusing a Matisse painting! This is a twist on the well known Bordeaux red blend. Modern fruit flavours and red berries gushing through your senses whilst you feel the underlying calm and structure of the varieties in the blend
